The Headlight Switch is getting way to HOT!!! | Dodge ...The headlight power is separate from the dimmer area. Headlight power just goes through the switch. If it is getting hot with just the headlights, definately a high resistance. Check the connectors on the back, even at the headlights themselves. Best thing is a relay to take the load out of the switch.
